A.D.A.L (A.R.A.L)
The willingness to perpetuate an old and prestigious Order in a fruitful and useful way, the Order of Arts and Letters, established on May 2nd, 1957, according to André Malraux' expression : "national heritage, respected and envied by artists, writers and creators".

Possibility to meet people, on a local, regional or national level, sharing the same cultural values and to establish with them friendship, respect and solidarity relations. These people belong to the world of Art, but also to the economic and social world.

They are also foreign people and French citizens living abroad, who did French culture a great service and actively contributed to its international influence.

Participation to artistic, cultural, literary and technical events :
Seminars, conferences, exhibitions, visits, conjugating knowledge sharing and mutual enrichment.

Defence and promotion of French culture, by weaving links with official institutions in charge of the diffusion of our language, but also by organizing competitions and by participating to pedagogic initiatives in France, which value those rewarded and artists who have not yet been.
The recognition of our Culture's creativity, the quality, even the excellence of its projects.
A dialogue between cultures, an open-mindedness, a mutual enrichment, a desire of the recognition of the Other.
As far as possible, organization of an annual international conference by the Association, in France or abroad, in venues and with people whose speeches and initiatives will enhance our feeling of belonging to one big family.
